my story
my name is riccio.
i am a musician with artistry rooted in weighted poetry, sprouting with dark timbre:
architect of the arts

when i was about four years-old, my parents introduced me to the song, “The Unforgiven II” by Metallica. they told me whenever the music video played on our TV, i would stand right in front of it and mimic Metallica's frontman, James Hetfield.
my professional music journey began in 2010 when i joined my first band in my hometown, Easton, Connecticut. from there, i evolved my musicianship throughout different bands:
***
Crossing Rubicon
i joined Crossing Rubicon on June 12th, 2014. i was welcomed to the Bristol, Connecticut based band as their bass player. i later transitioned to lead guitar when bassist, Jeanne Sagan of All That Remains, joined in 2015. my bass performance is featured on their songs “The Fallen” and “Tomorrow Never Comes”.
Horriblyright
while i was honing my musicianship in Crossing Rubicon, i auditioned to become the drummer of the Burlington, Connecticut based band, Horribly Right, on September 7th, 2014. only after a few months of joining the band, the guitarists left the band, leaving the singer and i as the only remaining members. i proposed to move to guitar and temporarily become an acoustic duo until we met more musicians to resume as a full band. this lead to the composition and production of our acoustic EP, Affliction, published on December 11th, 2015.
after a few years of writing, performing, and creating, Horribly Right evolved into a new business, Horriblyright, in which we called ourselves “the dyad of the arts - comprised of music and fashion”.
on April 26th, 2018, we published our debut album, Conjure the Cure.
Sinaro
while writing and performing music with Horribly Right in 2016, i joined the New York based band, Sinaro, as their guitarist. we performed in renown venues throughout New York City, such as Irving Plaza and Gramercy Theatre. i had the honor to perform alongside Oli Herbert, the late guitarist of All That Remains, in Sinaro’s music video for the song, “Break the Paradigm”.
riccio
i uprooted to Los Angeles in 2020 during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, where i began my solo music ventures.
