my story
my name is riccio. i am a musician from Los Angeles, CA. my artistry is rooted in weighted poetry, sprouting from dark timbre.

when i was about four years-old, my parents introduced me to the song, “The Unforgiven II” by Metallica. they told me whenever the music video played on our TV, i would stand right in front of it and mimic Metallica's frontman, James Hetfield.
my professional music journey began in 2010 when i joined my first band in my hometown, Easton, Connecticut. i continued to evolve my musicianship throughout different bands, leading up to my uprooting to Los Angeles in 2020 (during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic), where i began my solo music ventures.

Crossing Rubicon
i joined my first professional band, Crossing Rubicon, based out of Bristol, Connecticut, on June 12th, 2014. i was welcomed to the band as their bass player, then graduated to lead guitar when bassist Jeanne Sagan from All That Remains joined the band in 2015. my bass performance is featured on the Crossing Rubicon songs “The Fallen” and “Tomorrow Never Comes”.

Horriblyright
while i was honing my musicianship in Crossing Rubicon, i auditioned to become the drummer of the band, Horribly Right, based out of Burlington, Connecticut, on September 7th, 2014. i was welcomed into their vision, but only after a few months, both guitarists left the band. this left the singer and i as the only remaining members. i proposed to move to guitar and have the band temporarily become an acoustic duo until we met more musicians to resume as a full band. this lead to the composition and production of our acoustic EP, Affliction, published on December 11th, 2015.
after a few years, Horribly Right evolved into a new business, Horriblyright, in which we called ourselves “the dyad of the arts - comprised of music and fashion”. on April 26th, 2018, we published our debut album, Conjure the Cure.

in 2016, i joined the band, Sinaro, as their guitarist. we performed in New York City at venues such as Irving Plaza and Gramercy Theatre. we had the honor of performing alongside Oli Herbert, the late guitarist from the band, All That Remains, in Sinaro’s music video for the song, “Break the Paradigm”.
