my story

my name is riccio.

i am a musician with artistry rooted in weighted poetry, sprouting dark timbre.

when i was about four years-old, my parents introduced me to the song, “The Unforgiven II” by Metallica. they told me whenever the music video played on our TV, i would stand right in front of it and mimic Metallica's frontman, James Hetfield.

my professional music journey began in 2010 when i joined my first band in my hometown, Easton, Connecticut. from there, i evolved my musicianship throughout different bands:

i joined the band Crossing Rubicon as their bassist in 2014. i transitioned to lead guitar when bassist Jeanne Sagan of All That Remains joined in 2015. my bass performance is featured on their songs “The Fallen” and “Tomorrow Never Comes”.

i joined the band Horribly Right as their drummer in 2014. i transitioned to guitar in 2015, which led to the release of our acoustic EP, Affliction. after a few years of writing and performing, Horribly Right evolved into a new phase, Horriblyright - “the dyad of the arts”. we released our debut album, Conjure the Cure in 2018.

i joined the band Sinaro as their guitarist in 2016. we performed in renowned venues throughout New York City, including Irving Plaza and Gramercy Theatre. we had the honor of performing alongside Oli Herbert, the guitarist of All That Remains, in Sinaro’s music video for the song, “Break the Paradigm”.

during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, i uprooted to Los Angeles and began my solo music ventures. i released the singles; the hex, how much more?, graphite knife, boys, cherry nails, enslaved and inferno.

today, i continue to write, record, and internationally perform my music.
